Apex Skating, a world leader in high performance hockey skills development, brings our cutting-edge hockey training system to an intensive winter holiday break hockey skills camp, December 20th-22nd at The St. James Ice House.
Apex Skating athletes develop and refine technical power skating, improve posture and balance, puck skills, footwork agility and reaction skills. Train like the pros in a high-energy and motivating environment under the guidance and coaching of our expert team of hockey performance specialists.

Camp structure and curriculum:
During the camp, each day consists of two hours of on-ice training. The first hour focuses on technical skating, with the intent of improving skating mechanics, balance, and multi-directional agility. This is accomplished without pucks so that players train with intent and develop body awareness and understanding of specific skating techniques. The second hour of each day integrates puck handling, tying in the specific skating maneuvers and skills addressed in the first hour and applying them to in-game scenarios. The objective is to progressively improve overall coordination and hockey IQ.

Birth Years: 12U-16U travel-level (competitive) hockey players
*Players must be actively rostered on a competitive/travel hockey team in order to be eligible for this skills camp. Players are divided on the ice according to age and skill levels.
