Apex Skating, a world leader in high performance hockey skills development, brings our cutting-edge hockey training system to an intensive long weekend hockey skills camp, coinciding with Minnesota's MEI teacher development break (October 19th-21st, 2023).
Apex Skating athletes develop and refine technical power skating, improve posture and balance, puck skills, footwork agility and reaction skills. Train like the pros in a high-energy and motivating environment under the guidance and coaching of our expert team of hockey performance specialists.
What athletes receive during the camp:
Camp structure and curriculum:
During the camp, each day consists of two hours of on-ice training. The first hour focuses on technical skating, with the intent of improving skating mechanics, balance, and multi-directional agility. This is accomplished without pucks so that players train with intent and develop body awareness and understanding of specific skating techniques.Dates: October 19th-21st, 2023

Birth Years: 12U-16U travel-level (competitive) hockey players
*Players must be actively rostered on a competitive/travel hockey team in order to be eligible for this skills camp. Players are divided on the ice according to age and skill levels.
